Mojo actually means magical power. So if you’re compelled to “get your mojo working,” what can a mere human do? Humans have unique capacity above all living things and this is the magical power we can employ. We can:
- Plan for the future
- Calculate formulas
- Schedule events
- Express empathy
- Invent
- Create systems
- Laugh at adversity
- Generate excitement and energy
- Act on what we know rather than what we feel
- Develop passion for goals
- Choose good over evil
The magic about being alive is free will, choice to make our circumstances —no matter what they are — better. We can change our attitudes and determine our moods. We can change course and change history. We can love and excitement and passion.
You must love what you do. Your heart must be in it. Without passion and enthusiasm you will never work up to your fullest ability, potential, and competitive greatness.
If you don’t love what you do, you can change course. If you can’t do what you love (I’m not a Broadway star and decided not to even try for a number of reasons), you can find other things that you love as much.
You have the power, the magic, to make your dream life a reality.

Mojo has to be one of the most annoying words in English. (Is it even English?) But otherwise I love this article.

LOL I will have to agree with you on that count! I didn’t write the titles for the challenge lessons. To me “mojo” sounds a little bit like a street punk trying to sound cool.
