There are three ways to become part of the Brixter creative affordable housing movement. I’ll explain them in detail and you choose what fits you. Have another idea? Tell us!
- Buy Brix
Simple and straight forward.You purchase Brix — 100 pixel blocks measuring 10×10 — in any quantity you choose for $100 per Brix. You create your add on the Buy Brix creation page. Follow the steps as outlined. Pay with PayPal.
That’s it. You’re done for the next ten years!
- Donate materials, furnishings, or labor
If you have a great home product that you sell or manufacture, or you needed building skills, you can donate to Pix2Brix. You will get full pixel credit equal to the verified retail dollar amount of the donation, rounded to the nearest $100!
Just go to the Buy Brix creation page and follow the steps as usual. When you get to the Select Payment Method page, simply click the “Pay with Offline Payment” button. When the barter is complete, your pixel ad will be activated.
- Discount needed materials, furnishings, or labor
If you have a product or skill that can help build the new home, you can also discount the product or labor. Your add space will be equal to the difference between your price and the verified typical sales price, rounded to the nearest $100.
Follow the same process as for direct donations.
