Main Floor Concrete Poured

After trying most flooring surfaces known to man, including carpet, laminate, ceramic tile, natural stone tile, and hardwood, we decided our new custom home would have polished concrete on the main floor and stained concrete in the basement.

After extensive discussion and comparing, we chose Stewart Specialty Services to lay and polish the main floor concrete. They took three days to lay the concrete on the main floor in three sections. They began Friday with the office areas and continued Saturday with the master and guest bedrooms and library. We had rain and snow (stop already!) on Monday and Tuesday, but they were back today to finish the kitchen, dining, and family rooms.

Later in the process they’ll be polishing this level and installing a medallion in the foyer.
